Happy Friday Eve! AP World History Today we tackle another revolution during the "Age of Revolutions." Take a look at the videos (3 parts 1-3) on Khan academy about the French Revolution. I've begun working on grades so please be patient as I work toward getting those done. AP World History Yesterday, we began looking at the Industrial Revolution. Today, I would like you to use the reading attached, your AMSCO book, and your textbook to gather information about societal changes during the Industrial Revolution (You are free to use other historical sites to help you gather information. When you are finished reading you must create a T-chart. I would like you to list societal changes and their impact (on society) that came about as a result of the Industrial Revolution. Overall, you should be able to list and document at least 8 changes and their impact on society. AP World History I posted an announcement on Friday for you all to login into your AP classroom account and indicate that you are taking the test....some of you have not yet done that (this is a new indicator from the one you did earlier in the semester). Again, I would highly encourage that you take the exam seeing that it has shortened this year only. Speaking of exam, I am working on a plan to get you ready for the exam. Soon we will begin sessions on how to write the DBQ for the exam. For now, we will focus on content for period 3. In case you are wondering about grades, I am still waiting on the details of grading to begin making grade changes. Hang in there. We will get through this. During the break, teachers took a break as well, so I do not know any more specifics about grades from when we left on Friday (April 03). I will update you as soon as I get local directive. FYI: I still don't know anything about grades, make ups, or anything new from yesterday. Again, when I get the details I will let you know. I do have a bit of information on the AP exam but that is information that will be released later today on College Board. Next week is Spring Break....as you take a break (more mental) so will I.
